Proposed Upgrading Of Paya Jaras Interchange And Construction Of Access Roads To Kota Elmina Development | The proposed re-configuration and upgrading of Paya Jaras Interchange of the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE) from a ‘trumpet’ to a ‘full-cloverleaf’ interchange serves to provide efficient and effective accesses to the proposed Kota Elmina Development, a mixed development on approximately 1500 acres of land in the District of Selayang. And the access linking this upgraded interchange to two locations of the Federal Road FT54 also serves to provide a parallel alternative road to a winding stretch of the FT54 and this will greatly improve traffic circulation in this region. |

Cadangan Pembinaan Overpass Dan Jalan Sambungan Melintasi Taman Kajang Utama, Lebuhraya Lingkaran Kajang, Selangor | Assisted the Contractor to produce an alternative design to have minimum impact on the traffic management. The “half-diamond” interchange will provide direct access to Taman Kajang Utama. |
DUKE 3 [Setiawangsa Pantai Expressway] | Conceptual till detailed engineering design of urban tolled expressway of dual two-lane carriageway from Setiawangsa Interchange to Taman Melawati Interchange including three interchanges and one on-ramp. Our scope of works includes highway geometry, earthworks, pavement, road furniture, drainage, bridges and foundation works. |
DUKE 2 [Lebuhraya Duta – Ulu Kelang – Phase 2] | DUKE Phase 2 with estimated length of 16.4km including interchanges and ramps comprise of two (2) links namely the Sri Damansara Link (SDL) and Tun Razak Link (TRL). We were appointed as the Independent Consulting Engineer (ICE) acting for the project financiers to monitor the financial and physical progress, as well as the general compliance of the design to the needs statement. |
Proposed Mixed Development On Lot PT 834, Mukim Ijok & PT 1092, Mukim Jeram, Bandar Puncak Alam, Daerah Kuala Selangor, Selangor Darul Ehsan (Hill Park Shah Alam – Proposed Flyover At Jalan Batu Arang) | The proposed interchange consists of a flyover with dual 2-lane carriageway that is expandable to dual 3- lanes carriageway for free flow traffic travelling along Jalan Batu Arang – Shah Alam (B49), and at-grade right-turn signalised junction. The at-grade northbound road will be upgraded to three (3) lanes plus one (1) left-in / left-out towards / from UiTM. However, at-grade southbound road will be two (2) lanes plus one (1) left-in / left-out lane towards / from Saujana Utama. Dual 3-lane carriageway is proposed for the eastern and western side of the junction to cater for traffic from Saujana Utama and UiTM respectively. In addition, dedicated U-turns are provided below the flyover. |
MRRS [Projek Jalan Lingkaran Tengah Seremban, Negeri Sembilan] | Detailed engineering design of urban federal road of dual-two carriageway with 2 lanes in each direction and 1 interchange at Jalan Sg. Ujong. Total length of this Fasa 3B1 is approximately 1.5km. Our scope of work includes road geometry, earthworks, pavement, roadside furniture and drainage. |
Menaiktaraf Jalan Persekutuan FT006 Dari Teluk Kumbar Ke Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Pulau Pinang, Bayan Lepas | Detailed bridge design for the road upgrading totalling 530m in length. The elevated road is supported by U- beams. |
Southville City [Cadangan Membina Persimpangan Bertingkat Dari Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan (KM 294.13) Ke Southville City] | Detailed engineering design for an interchange for direct access from North-South Expressway at KM 294.13 to the proposed Southville City development. This interchange will link North-South Expressway and the existing Jalan Kajang – Dengkil. Our scope of work includes road geometry, earthworks, pavement, roadside furniture, drainage, bridge and utilities relocation. |
SUKE [Sungai Besi – Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway] | Detailed bridge design for the elevated expressway totalling 1.8km in length. It involves the construction of 57 piers with the maximum bridge span of 40m. The elevated expressway is supported by combinations of T-beams and U-beams. |
KVMRT [Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit] | Detailed engineering design of surface works along the MRT alignment from Package V1 to Package V4 including the 12 MRT stations within the alignment. Our scope of work includes road geometry, pavement, earthworks and drainage. |
EKVE [East Klang Valley Expressway] | Detailed engineering design of urban closed tolled expressway of dual-two carriageway with 2 lanes in each direction and 5 interchanges. Total length of expressway is approximately 24.1km. Our scope of work includes project coordination, highway geometry, pavement, earthworks, drainage, utilities relocation and bridges. |
Projek Baiki Jalan Kota Bharu – Kuala Terengganu | Detailed engineering design for the upgrading of rural federal road from two lanes single carriageway to dual two carriageway. The total length of upgrading is approximately 3km. Our scope of work includes road geometry, earthworks, pavement, roadside furniture, drainage, bridge and utilities relocation. |
SKVE [South Klang Valley Expressway, Section 1B, 2 & 3] | As the Lead Consultant for the detailed design of the expressway under the design and build contract. The total length of the expressway under this contract was 43.9km. Scope of our works include overall coordination of a team of consultants, geometric design, drainage works, bridges and other structures. |
Proposed Flyover at Pujut Roundabout, Miri | Detailed design of the flyover which consists of two decks, each carries a carriageway. The flyover is a R.C. voided deck. Each bridge is 500m long. |
BEE [Besraya Eastern Extension] | As the Lead Consultant for the detailed design of the extension of the BESRAYA expressway under the design and build contract. This 12.3 km elevated expressway includes interchanges at Salak South, Jalan Istana, Taman Ikan Emas, Jalan Loke Yew, Jalan Cheras Lama, Shamelin Perkasa, MRR2 North. Scope of our works include overall coordination of a team of consultants, geometric design, drainage works, bridges and other structures. |
Projek Membina Jalan Baru Dari Teluk Rubiah Ke Teluk Batik, Daerah Manjung, Perak | Detailed design of 6.0 km JKR R3 standard road linking Teluk Rubiah to Teluk Batik. The estimated cost of this 2-lane road with R3 geometry and R5 cross sections was RM 15.0 million. |
Upgrading of Stutong Gyratory & Jalan Lapangan Terbang, Kuching | Upgrading of the existing round-about to a 3-level interchange. Involved in detailed design of 5 bridges and their foundations in this upgrading works. The bridges were of R.C. voided deck. The total length of the 5 bridges is 1502m. |
Proposed New Direct Access Road To Westport | Detailed design of 3.0km JKR U4 standard dual 2-lane carriageway linking Port Klang Free Zone to Westport, Pulau Indah. |
Proposed Indah Point Interchange | Upgrading of the existing intersection to a 3-level interchange. Ramp 1 consists of a 13-span R.C. voided deck totalling 370m. Ramp 3 consists of 33 spans of precast post-tensioned T-beams of spans between 37m and 40m. Other works include geometric design and drainage works. |
Cadangan Menaiktaraf Laluan Persekutuan 3 dari Kuantan (KM 9.0) ke Pekan (KM 46.0), Pahang | Lead consultant for the detailed design of upgrading works for Federal Route 3 from KM 9.0 to KM 46.0, a total of 37km. The scope of work includes widening the existing single 2-lane to dual 2-lane carriageways and a half-diamond interchange at junction with Kuantan – Gambang Road (FT2). |

Consisting of 12.4km mainline and 5.6km Karak Link. We are involved as the Independent Consulting Engineer (ICE) acting for the project financiers to monitor the financial and physical progress, as well as the general compliance of the design to the needs statement. |
Bridge Over Sungai Lengan & Bridge Over Sungai Loba Satubah | These two bridges are similar in span configurations but completely different in foundation system. The total span of bridge is 260m with a central span of 70m. The long central span is constructed using precast beams and long cantilever hammer head piers. |
ECE Phase 2 [Lebuhraya Pantai Timur, Fasa 2 – Sempadan Pahang / Terengganu Ke Kuala Terengganu, Bukit Besi to Bukit Payung (Package 10) | This was a turnkey project to design and construct the Phase 2 of the East Coast Expressway from the border of Pahang / Terengganu to Kuala Terengganu. As one of the sub-consultants assisting Terratech Consultants (M) Sdn Bhd (the Lead Consultant) in carrying out the detailed design for Package 10 (Bukit Besi to Bukit Payung), our scope of work includes highway geometry, earthworks, ground treatment, drainage works and 4 bridges for Sub-Package 10A (consists of mainline length of 15.1km and an interchange at Bukit Besi). |
Kuching International Airport – Ramp Connection To The Departure Concourse | Detailed design of the 523m long ramp connection to the Departure Concourse of the Kuching International Airport using insitu R.C. voided deck and precast pre-tensioned beams supported on bored piles. |

Membina Jejambat Melintasi Jalan Ipoh / Lumut Ke Jambatan Tuanku Bainun, Manjung Perak for JKR | Detailed design of a 9-span segmental box girder using balance cantilever construction. The bridge consists of two decks, each supports a carriageway. The total span of each deck is 456m with maximum span length of 60m. |
Pavement Re-profiling Works at North – South Expressway, Northern Region | Pavement re-profiling design for some stretches of North – South Expressway using MX RENEW software. |
MRRS [Projek Jalan Lingkaran Tengah Seremban, Negeri Sembilan] | The project was carried out in phases:- Phase 1 – Detailed design of MRRS linking Jalan Tuanku Antah to Jalan Siamang Gagap for a length of 3.2km and upgrading of Jalan Rasah for a length of 2.8km with a flyover and 3 overhead pedestrian bridges. Scope of work includes road geometry, earthworks, retaining structures and drainage. Phase 2 – Detailed design of MRRS linking Jalan Sg. Ujung to Jalan Tuanku Antah for a total length of 7.3km and 8 interchanges. Scope of work includes road geometry, earthworks, retaining structures and drainage. Phase 3 – Conceptual and detailed design of MRRS linking Jalan Sg. Ujung to Jalan Siamang Gagap for a total length of 10.5km and upgrading of Jalan Labu of a length of 2km and 8 interchanges. Scope of work includes road geometry, earthworks, retaining structures, drainage, ground treatment and utilities relocation. |

Improvement to Jalan Duta (Projek Menaiktaraf Jalan Duta, Jalan Kuching dan Jalan-Jalan Hubungan Lain, Kuala Lumpur Secara Deferred Payment Scheme) | Detailed engineering design involving the upgrading of 2km of existing urban highway with 4 at-grade intersections into grade separation consisting of 2 diamond interchanges with a fourth tier directional ramp of 700m. |
Kuang System Interchange & NSE Connection | As a connection of the Guthrie Corridor Expressway to the North-South Expressway, Guthrie Corridor Expressway Sdn Bhd had engaged us to complete the detailed design of the Kuang System Interchange and NSE connection. This connection helped GCE to serve as an alternative route from NSE to ELITE without passing through the congested KL and PJ area of the NSE. |
